1. Who are you?
I am Ildiko Mazar, member of the EduHack partnership. A chemical engineer by degree, who never spent a day in an engineering job. Maybe that is one of the reasons why I am so passionate about improving the public perception of the value of non-formal and informal learning.
2. Why are you interested in EduHackathons?
There are a lot of challenges in education, and most often these are addressed in board- or conference rooms, often in plenary presentation style. I believe in practical, collaborative problem solving and EduHackathons provide an ideal format to utilise the expertise of a mixed group of educational stakeholders to address common concerns and work on joint projects.
3. Who are you learning from these days?
Most often I learn from colleagues and partners I meet on the job, sometimes from my favourite podcast and/or resources shared by people I trust.
